For those of you who are not from Scotland, Auld Kirk, means old church.
This project completed in 1987 came about as an enquiry to replace fire damaged windows. At first glance, the windows seemed still intact but they were crazed with heat cracks.
The original windows were simple diamond shaped sections with brown glasspainting and some silver stain.
I suggested that it may be better to use the opportunity to create a new work rather than to replace the existing windows.
It was an interesting project to make and I am still fond of it.
