This project was completed in 1993.

It was designed and made to mark the captivity and freedom of the Beirut Hostages.

The windows are located in the Church which the McCarthy family attended and was a focal point for those working for the release of the hostages.

I used a cubist approach to give a sense of the confinement and the captivity window is almost entirely black and white.
