This index shows pictures from this project completed in 1985.

It is all about the history of Coatbridge which is a town in central Scotland.

The project was to indicate the history of the area with its industrial heritage, coal mining, the canal, the railways and so on. The other aspect was to indicate the town at present or at least as is was in 1985.

As can be seen here, I was using a cubist concept that allows objects of different sizes and scales to be placed together. It also allows a sense of movement of an object or of the standpoint of the viewer.

One of the benifits of creating this site is to go back and look again at work done many years ago.
